This is the link to my final project done on DreamWeaver. I had never used DreamWeaver before so it was a little confusing to me at first, but once I got the hang of it it didn't seem so hard. I chose to do a website for the store that I actually work for called Puppy Love. It is a small family owned business that sells nothing but puppies that we get from registered breeders all over the United States. They already have a website, but it is very poorly done & I have actually been telling them for some time now that I was going to re-do their website to make it better. I thought being able to do a website in this class was a good way for me to figure out what I wanted to do and how exactly I was going to do it. I found DreamWeaver to be a lot easier than I expected, and I actually had a lot of fun with the project and with this class.

After Effects Project

This is my video I made in After Effects. I wanted to use a superhero in my movie & when I chose Flash because when I googled "superheroes" he came up and actually fit my background almost perfect. I had never used this program before so I think my movie turned out okay. Once I got the gist of things, it became a little easier. I did not use any sound because I was having trouble finding one that would save to the computer. The text I used was Flash because that is the name of the superhero so I thought that made sense. Over all, I think my movie turned out ok for a first time.

InDesign Project

Here is my final for my magazine cover done in InDesign. I wanted to do kind of a People Magazine cover but use sports and on the cover I used a picture of me & Jason Varitek, the Boston Red Sox catcher, getting married. I used photoshop to place our heads on the bodies of the bride and groom and then placed that picture into InDesign. I titled the magazine "Baseball : The Off Season" because it is geared towards a gossip magazine of what happens when the players have their time off. I had never used InDesign before so I found this project to be a little more difficult, but once I got the hang out it I think it turned out alright.

Illustrator Project in Black & White

Here is my illustrator logo in black & white. It looks just about the same as the other it just has no color. I actually prefer it in color but I guess if someone were faxing it to me this is how I would see it.

Illustrator Project in Color

Here is my final in color for my logo idea in Illustrator. I chose to do soccer because I played almost my entire life and the Crystal Lake Force is the club team that I played on for most of my career so I chose to use them as my logo. Our colors were blue and yellow so that is why I chose them. I had fun with this project too and found it to be a little easier than the photoshop one, and I think it turned out pretty well.

Photoshop Project

Here is my final advertisement for my photoshop project. I chose to do a baseball theme because I love the sport and I thought it would be fun to create something for the World Series. I started off with a picture of Josh Beckett, the top pitcher on the Boston Red Sox and then I just chose four different teams, Boston, of course, Chicago Cubs because I am from Chicago, then Tampa since that is where I live now and then I chose the Cleveland Indians because their logo seemed to fit the best. I had a lot of fun doing this project and I think it turned out pretty good.

Hi. My name is Nicole Johansson, but I usually only respond to Nikki. I am 23 years old and have lived in Crystal Lake, Illinois (about an hour north of Chicago) my whole life until the last few months, and I do not like Florida. I transferred here from the Art Institute of Schuamburg, so I only have a year or so left of school. My life has revolved around soccer since I was 5, I haven't played since September due to a rotator cuff surgery I had in the beginning of October. I am a huge Boston Red Sox fan and I love baseball and going to baseball games, and I absouletly hate Derek Jeter and the New York Yankees.

I have led a pretty boring life since I have moved down here seeing as I don't know many people, and between working and taking 18 credit hours a quarter, I don't really have much time. I am just trying to get through school so I can start working and making money!
